The New Lebron 9 Miami Nights

Now it is really getting good. Or, should I say, it is getting better. The newest colorway of the Lebron 9 has been spotted. Already we have seen the new Lebron 9 in it's original Black/Red colorway. In addition, the "Scarface", "China", and "Cannon" colorways have been uneveiled. Now, the new Cool Grey/Vivid Grey/Black/Cherry colorway joins an already stellar group of colorways that make up the new Lebron 9.

It must be good to be the King. Sure, Lebron has more money than he knows what to do with. And of course he owns several mansions. Those are all good and well. But can you imagine what his closet full of sneakers looks like? You got to be kidding me! Between his signature sneaker, "Soldier", "Amabassador", "Lows", and "PE" lines, he has so much heat, excuse the pun, in his closet that he should house the local fire department in one of the wing's of his mansion. And it is only going to get hotter. This new colorway is some serious heat.

This new LeBron 9 colorway, that has been dubbed "Miami Nights", features Cool Grey, Vivid Grey, and Black on it's upper and uses a light purple for the Swoosh and LeBron signature on the tongue. Cherry is used on the lace. The midsole uses both Cool Grey and Black while the Nike Air Max unit uses purple in the heel cup. The use of Cherry and Purple as accents on the most popular colorway of the last two years is a nice change and produces a sick looking shoe. Nike shoes for basketball seems to be blessing King James with some beautiful shoes so far this year.

This is all just part of what has been a charmed life for the man they call King James. Born LeBron Raymone James in 1984, the King was crowned "Mr. Basketball" of Ohio three times and was a highly promoted basketball player while he was a sophomore at St Vincent-St Mary High School. Selected as the number one pick in the 2003 NBA Draft, LeBron was named the NBA Rookie of the Year for the 2003-2004 season. James singlehandly led the Cleveland Cavaliers to playoff appearances from 2006 through 2010 and took them to their first ever NBA Finals in 2007.

Charmed life and several Nike shoes for basketball in his name aside, Lebron has not yet been able to obtain the one piece of hardware that all professional basketball players strive for, an NBA Finals Championship Ring. Let's hope he has a chance this season. Not only to see if he can finally win one, but so we can see how many new Lebron 9 colorways he will rock on the court.
